Do you remember the Android 4.2 December bug? Google promised a quick fix and it is apparently rolling out in the form of an Android 4.2.1 update for the LG-made Nexus 4, Asus-made Nexus 7 and Samsung-made Nexus 10. Of course, there’s more to the update than just the December bug fix, even though the file is kind of lightweight.
Bluetooth glitch fixes are also in and that’s just about it when it comes to the little-more-than-one-megabyte update. There are four days left until December so those with a birthday next month can, after the update, go ahead (or their friends) and finally enter their birthdays in the People app. We have not yet received the update on our Nexus devices at the time of this post but the OTA refresh should land any time now.
