Samsung Sells Two Million Galaxy Note II Devices In A Month, Five Million Total

From the moment it was introduced until the beginning of November when we heard official numbers, Samsung has managed to sell three million Galaxy Note II devices around the world. The phablet made its way to American carriers — thankfully in the quad-core flavor — and it definitely benefited from the huge marketing push Samsung has been doing recently.

Fast forward to today and Samsung is letting everyone know that the company managed to sell five million units of its flagship phablet. Even if the three million number we’ve heard at the beginning of the month counted sales until somewhere mid-late October, two additional million devices in a month (or just a little bit more) is an excellent achievement.

While still far from the Galaxy S III which has managed to break sales records for Android devices (and we’re not talking only Samsung here), the Galaxy Note II numbers are setting a target which will have to be topped by the Galaxy Note II next year (and which is now almost impossible to achieve by other manufacturers who might be considering the phablet market).
