“We bet Windows Phone is a better match for you”, says the official wording on this playlist by Windows Phone on YouTube. You surely remember the “Smoked by Windows Phone” series of videos that have kicked off at this year’s CES, putting Microsoft employees using Windows Phone 7 against regular users of competing platforms.
If the Windows Phone 7 “smoked” series aimed at showing off the speed of certain Microsoft-platform features, the Windows Phone 8 “Meet Your Match” campaign doesn’t necessarily only focus on speed. The company wants to demonstrate how Windows Phone 8 is better, easier, more useful, and more fun; it is still a “a side-by-side comparison of us vs. the other guys [...] but now it’s about why our phones and features are a better match for you, no matter who you are or what you’re into.”
Check out some of the videos by clicking on the source link below and find out how the Lumia 920 is according to Microsoft “the best camera phone out there, period” (check out what we think) and how the HTC Windows Phone 8X makes an iPhone user say her Apple device “sucks” [sic]. Oh, and Android users are also turned!
