We are so glad the Samsung spokesperson who said that it might be 2013 until US Galaxy S III units will see their official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update was wrong, or so it seems. We’ve seen a ROM leak previously but this time reports are talking about the official roll-out process on Magenta.
The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III, model number SGH-T999, is apparently receiving its official Android 4.1.1 refresh. The version is T999UVDLJA and the build date on that is October 20. Should be available as an OTA update (wait for the notification) or verify its existence by firing up your KIES software. Let us know if you’ve got the new OS and your first impressions.
