Earlier today we’ve head that Google has flipped the update switch and some GSM Galaxy Nexus owners are receiving the Android 4.2 refresh –with a manual link available too– and now it’s time for Google’s latest and greatest to be delivered to the seven-inch Nexus tablet.
You have to run Android 4.1.2 build JZO54K in order to be able to receive Android 4.2. If you haven’t received the official OTA update yet and you want to apply the refresh manually you will need to grab the ZIP file from Google’s servers and do your magic with Recovery and adb. Opposed to the Galaxy Nexus refresh, the Nexus 7 update does indeed contain the multi-user support bit.
