With pre-orders starting for the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 devices it is a normal move for Google to start delivering the new version of the OS to older Nexus phones. It appears that this is exactly the case as there have been plenty of reports of Android 4.2 popping up as an OTA update for Galaxy Nexus phones.
According to reports, only GSM flavors of the Galaxy Nexus are getting the refresh, complete with Gesture Typing, Photosphere and all the other cool stuff (sans multiple user support). Furthermore, if you have a Takju device you can grab the update manually from this link and play around with it if you haven’t received your update notification just yet.
