Those of you who are (not necessarily long-time) Windows users on your computers should be familiar with the security updates Microsoft is pushing out on a regular basis. Well, now that we have Windows 8 running on tablets alongside Windows RT, you’ve got to get used to seeing patches for your slates too (not that this is a bad thing! Not at all!).
According to Microsoft the company will push out a set of six security updates next week, which will include three for Windows 8 as well as Windows RT, addressing 19 vulnerabilities found in the operating system itself, Internet Explorer and the .NET framework. If you want to learn more specifics about the patches and what they fix hit up the source link below. Else, just keep an eye out for the updates which are believed to be delivering around 1p ET on November 13.
