Apple’s long-rumored iPad mini is finally here, at least if all you wanted was the WiFi-only version of the 7.9-inch tablet. What if the tablet’s petite size just screams to you “take me out into the world”, and you’ve been hankering for one of the cellular-enabled versions, instead? Apple’s been accepting orders for those models, but the question as to just when they’d finally ship has remained. Now we’re finally starting to get a better idea of when those orders could end up arriving, as well as when the LTE iPad mini might go up for sale in retail stores.
Users who ordered the LTE iPad mini are reporting that Apple has now updated their order statuses to reflect delivery dates around November 20 or 21. If you were interested in something a little larger, orders for the LTE version of the iPad 4 are similarly being updated, showing deliveries scheduled for November 23.
You might be able to score a cellular-enabled iPad Mini (as well as a cell-enabled iPad 4) even earlier than that, though, as one rumor suggests that AT&T could start offering the tablets at its retail locations beginning in just over a week, on November 16.
