We talked about the Multi Window feature on the Samsung Galaxy Note II with the occasion of our review as well as Episode 13 of our Pocketnow Weekly Podcast. As a reminder, the feature allows two apps to be displayed on the screen at the same time, improving your productivity. However, one of the downsides of this feature was the fact that only a handful of applications were supported. Well, thanks to the community, this is no longer the case.
You can now add any application to the list of those which can benefit from multi-window with the help of a mod. Installation is rather simple and you only need to flash it in Recovery mode. However, you need to find the proper mod compatible with your version of the ROM and you will also have to check out whether it is odexed or deodexed (this Android Power User episode explains it all). Of course, the mod is in its early versions so expect things to go smother with upcoming releases.
