We’re currently reviewing the Windows Phone 8X by HTC and, until our full review is up –hint, soon– you can check out the unboxing just to get a feel for what you’ll find in the box. We’ve recently seen some Verizon training documents and today’s leak seems to bring confirmation of wireless charging on the 8X, something the Lumia 920 was considered to have as an advantage over the Taiwanese phone.
As you can see in the screenshot below, you will be able to charge this phone wirelessly with the help of a wireless charging pad which will be sold separately. The all-but-confirmed price tag will beĀ $199 with a two-year contract but as far as availability is concerned there are mixed reports: some indicate November 8, others seem to believe the week of November 18-24 is the one to watch out for. Is this last bit of information decisive in making your decision to get the 8X?
