Apple introduced both the iPad mini and the fourth generation iPad at its keynote on October 23. Pre-orders were available staring October 25 and both items seem to have sold more than the initial stock, with the iPad mini selling out first, followed by the New iPad with Retina Display.
Pre-orders should arrive at owners’ doorsteps today, November 2, which also marks the brick-and-mortar store availability. And, since the Earth is round and we’re lucky to have time zones, New Zealanders have already managed to grab their own units. If you want to grab your own tablet you should note that Apple Stores open at 8a local time, though people might be already standing in line. We’re eagerly waiting for our iPad mini and New iPad devices and make sure we’ll analyze them from every aspect, with a full review coming up shortly for both.
