Windows Phone 8 is officially out and phones should be pouring in relatively soon. If, for whatever reason, you are planning on grabbing a Windows Phone 8 device but you have an Apple Mac you will need to update your Mac Connector client. A new version is now available and instead of the old name, it is now called simply “Windows Phone”.
It is version 3.0 and brings a lot of features. First and foremost there’sĀ support for Windows Phone 8 devices. Then, with the new app, you can drag and drop files between Windows Phone and your Mac desktop, drag and drop files from Finder to your Windows Phone 8 devices, all while adding support for iPhoto 9.3.2 and Aperture 3.3.2, support for battery charge state for devices running WP8, enhanced capability support for Ringtone files for Windows Phone 8 devices and, last but not least, support for Retina display Macs in case if that’s your hardware. Follow the source link below to grab it or search the App Store for “Windows Phone”.
