Judging from past iPad releases, we’ll admit we found it weird to see an iPad launch where the product didn’t sell out on the first couple of hours. The Fourth-Generation iPad launched its pre-order at the same time as the iPad mini, and still, only certain units of the iPad mini sold out on the first couple of hours. As of today its, if you’re after the 9.7-inch Retina Display iPad, orders will ship a week’s delay.
You can obviously just go to the store on November 2nd and make a line to get your own, but we know many of you prefer to take the simple route. The LTE version of the iPad seems on track for Mid-November though, so some of us are just assuming that their stock of third-generation iPads helped in making this product sell out in more time. It’s either that or we simply got one-too-many iPads in the market this year.
