According to HTC, users of the One X –and One S for that matter– should get the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update by the end of October. There are still five days left of this month so everything could happen especially that the latest version of Android is now rolling out to One X phones in Asia.
According to reports we’re looking at Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean HTC’s own Sense UI on top of it. The package is weighing around 350MB. Taiwan and Singapore are mentioned in the report and the filename hints details of version numbers and builds: 3.14.709.16 and 2.17.709.7. There is no official wording on phones from other regions, aside from the very last part of the HTC One X+ announcement press release that said: “The Android Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4+ update is scheduled to begin rolling out for the HTC One S and HTC One X from October”. Five days to go!
