“Welcome to Q3!”
That’s the greeting Anton D. Nagy had for Michael Fisher when the latter talked about the sheer volume of news to cover on this week’s episode of the Pocketnow Weekly. And indeed, the ramp up to the holiday season in this, the third quarter of 2012, has been packed. Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, and a host of other manufacturers have all contributed to this month’s veritable fountain of product releases and announcements, and Multimedia Editor Jaime Rivera joins us this week to talk about (almost) all of it. In this episode: Apple’s iPad Mini and iPad 4, Microsoft’s Surface RT tablet, Samsung’s Galaxy Note II and the rumors swirling around the Nexus 10, in addition to a rousing discussion about the nature of fanboys and the state of the enthusiast community. Plus, because we couldn’t skip it two weeks in a row, some awesome listener mail.
Please note that the “Clean” tag has been removed for this episode; it doesn’t warrant an “explicit” warning, but things get slightly more risqué than usual. You’ve been warned, fragile listeners!
