As we saw yesterday, Nokia’s Lumia 920 Windows Phone 8 handset is already available, so long as you’re a well-plugged-in celebrity. For us hoi polloi, we’ve been waiting for the phone to finally make its retail debut. We’ve known that AT&T is going to be the exclusive launch carrier in the States, but have remained in the dark as to actually when the smartphone will first go up for sale. While AT&T has yet to officially reveal any date, a new rumor is claiming with some certainty that the phone could ultimately land on November 11.
BGR attributes this news to multiple unnamed sources, and while we’d like to know a little more about where this claim originated, it does fit with the general timetable we’d expect for a WP8 launch device.
Based on the comments we’ve gotten to some recent stories about the Lumia 920, it seems that some of you have grown disenchanted with the phone during the wait since it was first announced. If there’s really another two weeks to go before it arrives, are those of you who kept the 920 faith still optimistic about the handset’s arrival, or have you too started to sour to it?
