As announced with the occasion of the special event where Apple introduced the fourth generation iPad and the iPad mini, pre-orders are now available for those who want to grab one of Apple’s new tablets. Visit your country’s Apple Online store for your local prices (for the remainder of this post, we’ll talk about US prices which will differ from your local ones).
The fourth generation iPad is available in black and white, as follows:
- 16GB WiFi only: $499, delivers November 2
- 32GB WiFi only: $599, delivers November 2
- 64GB WiFi only: $699, delivers November 2
- 16GB WiFi + cellular: $629, ships mid-November
- 32GB WiFi + cellular: $729, ships mid-November
- 64GB WiFi + cellular: $829, ships mid-November
Apple’s first smaller tablet, the 7.9-inch iPad mini is available in black and white, as follows:
- 16GB WiFi only: $329, delivers November 2
- 32GB WiFi only: $429, delivers November 2
- 64GB WiFi only: $529, delivers November 2
- 16GB WiFi + cellular: $459, ships mid-November
- 32GB WiFi + cellular: $559, ships mid-November
- 64GB WiFi + cellular: $659, ships mid-November
Update: Well, that was fast! The white WiFi only iPad mini just changed its status to “available to ship in two weeks”, which means that there either is a huge demand or the initial stock should have been projected better.
