Nokia’s Lumia 822 is an odd duck, taking the Lumia 820 hardware that will be released internationally, outfitting the phone with a CDMA radio for Verizon, and ditching most of Nokia’s iconic design elements for something that looks more like a run-of-the-mill, rounded off handset; as you can tell, it’s not a change that everyone’s enthusiastic about. We’ve already had a few opportunities to check out some imagery of the 822, and those are joined today by the latest leaked pic.
Unfortunately, today’s arrival isn’t anywhere near the resolution of what we’ve seen before. What it does have to offer, though, is depicting the phone in the white variation we hadn’t yet seen on film. While it’s still no Lumia 820 or 920, the white version does seem like quite a bit of an improvement over the drab black we already got to check out.
We also get a look at Nokia’s wireless charging pad in white, which nicely complements the phone. The 822 should arrive with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1.5GHz dual-core S4 SoC, and an eight-megapixel main camera.
