Everything we’ve been learning in the Android Power User series thus far has been setting the stage and getting us ready to flash whatever Custom ROM we want on our devices.

We’ve learned about unlocking and rooting, we’ve learned about Recovery ROMs and system images, now we’re going to take a look at an app called ROM Manager that makes use of a rooted environment and Clockwork Mod Recovery to make flashing Custom ROMs very quick, super easy, and something that you can literally do every day.

Every day? Why would anyone do that?

I run CyanogenMod Nightlies which are, as their name implies, released (almost) nightly. That means I end up flashing a new ROM every day. With ROM Manager, that’s not a problem!
