When AT&T announced that it would be the exclusive US carrier of the Lumia 920 (at least for now), it confirmed the arrival of a cyan version of the handset, which we previously had seen teased in some Nokia videos. Unfortunately for international users, that cyan option looks like it’s only going to be available in the States. It’s not a total loss, however, as it’s now become clear that the global community is getting access to a 920 color that AT&T users will have to go without.
This isn’t the first time we’ve taken a close look at Nokia’s product page for the Lumia 920 this evening, but this time we’re not concerned with frequency coverage. While the company’s US page shows the cyan that’s absent from the international color options, it also reveals that the gray version of the handset won’t be coming to AT&T.
It’s too early to guess about the full spectrum that might be available on future versions of the hardware, like the 922 rumored for Verizon, but for the immediate future, at least, there doesn’t appear to be a way to get a gray 920 from a US carrier.
