Nokia “Atlas” was the codename of this phone when we first saw a leak of the Lumia 820 variant for Verizon. At that time it was a press render and many of our commenters opined that it was not among the prettiest phones out there. Today we’re seeing the first real-life pictures of the device which goes by the model number Lumia 822, according to the latest reports.
The specs are on-par with the global variant which means a 4.3-inch screen with WVGA resolution and an eight-megapixel camera at the back with Carl Zeiss optics. Of course there’s reportedly LTE for Verizon under that matte plastic on the back which some of you will love while others will try to avoid. We have to agree on the fact that this is not Nokia’s best design but it is a mid-range phone and we wouldn’t be surprised if the price reflected exactly that. What do you think of the looks?
