Are you convinced yet that LG will be manufacturing an upcoming Nexus model? We’re still not sure exactly what to make of reports of a whole slew of Nexus devices from a number of manufacturers, but rumors have been pretty consistent in naming an LG model as among those devices. We’ve been talking lately about this so-called Nexus 4, heavily based on LG Optimus G hardware. From shots of the phone in the flesh, to spotting it in retailer systems, it’s certainly been looking like the phone is just itching to launch. According to a new rumor, that could be just a few weeks away.
French newspaper Le Figaro reports that Google intends to launch the Nexus 4 on October 29, the last Monday of the month. While it claims that France won’t see the hardware actually arrive until December, chances are that the US will have its shot at the Nexus 4 in November.
This doesn’t discount the possibility of other Nexus device announcements from Google and manufacturers like HTC, but if what we’re hearing is true, LG could be the one that gets to lead the pack.
