The ASUS-made Google Nexus 7 is the go-to Android tablet if you love the form factor but it is no competitor to the iPad with its 9.7-inch screen. Apple is rumored to soon release a Nexus 7 competitor with the iPad Mini and now Google is rumored to release an iPad competitor with a possible future 10-inch Nexus slate.
According to recent reports such 10-inch Nexus tablet is already in the works; Google and Samsung are working together to bring it to the market with a higher pixel density than the New iPad: 2,560 x 1,600 resolution with 299 PPI against Apple’s Retina 2,048×1,536 264PPI. Analysts claim that it will be a high-end device so probably the killer price we’ve gotten used to by now with the Nexus 7 will not serve as a comparison.
