Samsung’s been taking things real easy when it comes to the Galaxy Note II launch in the States, and the name of the game seems to be “don’t rush things”. After all, the Note II’s been official since late August, Samsung waited until mid-September to announce its US launch, and the manufacturer still hasn’t followed-through with even the most basic of details on the launch, like the carriers involved. We’ve been expecting to get the full lowdown on the Note II on October 24, when Samsung has an event scheduled, nearly two months since the phone’s initial announcement. Now a new leak out of T-Mobile suggests that not only will Samsung share the full details on the Note II’s availability that day, but also announce the start of retail sales themselves.
An internal T-Mobile document names October 24 for the Note II’s product launch, and mentions that further info will be made available to its retail staff next week. The phone should arrive in both white and gray, though we’re still waiting on details for pricing. If the leaks keep coming, we could still hope to learn that in advance of Samsung’s event.
Chances are, we’ll see the Note II launch on the other US carriers it’s coming to on October 24, as well.
