The Google Gesture Search app has become quite popular since its inception almost two years ago. The idea is that you can search for anything by just drawing letters on your screen. The app quickly filters search results focusing on the letters you’re trying to handwrite. Probably not the most efficient way to search, but it sure is handy when you’ve got one hand busy or on the road.
Google has just released an update to the app that brings overall performance improvements and also support for the Nexus 7. Just like in your smartphone, all you need to do is launch the app and draw letters as they come to your mind. Obviously no Google app would be complete without support for their only tablet, so upgrade your app if you haven’t.
While you’re at it, if you’re still having trouble guessing what this service is, make sure you watch Joe’s video from around two years ago. Download the app from the Google Play Store here.
