If you’ve been wondering just how the next Nexus smartphone from Google will look like, recent rumors shed some light. Unnamed reliable sources have said that Google is asking their still undisclosed OEM partner(s) to have their Nexus designs remain in harmony with the Nexus 7.
There’s no denying that Google nailed a home-run with the Nexus 7 since it’s been sold out a couple of times in their Google Play store. There’s also no denying that it’s also one of the best-looking tablets of the year anyway. It’s still hard to predict if this rumor holds any water, but with rumors of an LG Optimus Nexus, or even the fact that there will be multiple OEMs providing a Nexus device, it’s hard to imagine all OEMs chose just one design and color.
Google’s future Nexus smartphone should be released no later than next month after the Galaxy Nexus reaches a year old, so stay tuned.
