As we await Apple to send out invites for an iPad mini launch event, which it just might do in about a week, some new renders of the rumored tablet have come to our attention, and they’re easily the best-looking ones yet.
Recent shots of supposed iPad mini components have given us a better idea of what to expect from the case design, which appears to be mirroring the anodized aluminum used in the iPhone 5. With that in mind, designer Martin Hajek threw together some sample images to give us a better sense of what the finished tablet just might look like.
Renders give fans the chance to imagine products we might never actually see arrive, and Hajek took a few liberties with his art to cook-up just such a pastel blue iPad mini.
In fact, if you’ve got some ideas on iPad mini variants of your own, you can actually put together your own renders quite easily, thanks to Hajek releasing the 3D models he used to create these images.
