A leaked screenshot from a retailer’s computer system that surfaced yesterday showed us an entry for a new 32GB version of ASUS and Google’s Nexus 7 tablet. So far, that’s only been available in 8GB and 16GB configurations, but if you’ve been hankering for a Nexus 7 you can really load to the brim with videos before your next trip, a 32GB model sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Today, we get some more evidence supporting the arrival of just such a model, along with an idea of when it might finally arrive.
Once again, we’ve got some data from an ordering system, this time showing all three Nexus 7 versions. The pricing doesn’t make any sense here, so we’re supposedly looking at more of a placeholder than anything else, but it’s still a sign that a lot of companies involved with tablet sales are expecting this 32GB Nexus 7 to show up.
The source behind the screenshot claims that the 32GB tablets should arrive at retailers around October 24, but it’s not clear if that’s also when sales might begin. He also mentioned the 32GB model being a “special model”, but we don’t yet know what, if any significance that might have.
