Microsoft’s been keeping a tight lid on some of Windows Phone 8′s remaining unannounced features, presumably to be revealed at the end of the month, but a new video showing a hands-on experience with the HTC Windows Phone 8X reveals a few of those, including some new keyboard behavior.
There’s no telling how long the embedded clip below will last before the powers that be yank it off YouTube, so watch while you can. There’s quite a lot to take in, and though it’s not clear if this is the final, shipping version of WP8, it’s certainly quite close.
Beyond being able to download additional keyboard language packs to your phone, the on-screen keyboard will now highlight keys as you press them in your accent color of choice. Considering all the color options HTC and Nokia are offering with their WP8 hardware lineups, it’s really starting to feel like there’s a push to make Windows Phone 8 a brighter, more visually appealing successor to WP7.
You’ll also get a peek at the new Office Hub, Maps, and the 8X’s camera performance. Watch while you can!
