Nokia’s Lumia 920 is arguably the most eagerly anticipated of all the upcoming Windows Phone 8 launch devices, and with good reason. Though it may not the sheer megapixels of the PureView 808, the 920′s camera looks capable of some fantastic performance, the whole fake commercials business notwithstanding. Some lucky souls already have access to the phone, as seen in this new shot of a Lumia 920 out in the wild.
Since this was shot in Washington state, the presumption is that the phone’s in the possession of a Microsoft employee who is either taking advantage of their position within the company to get some early access to unreleased gear, or doing some last-minute real world tests of either the phone itself or, perhaps more likely, the performance of Windows Phone 8.
We’re still not sure exactly when the 920 will go up for sale, but you can bet that we’ll start getting some answers to our remaining questions about the Windows Phone 8 launch over the next few weeks.
