For all of Samsung’s press events and announcements regarding the Galaxy Note II, we’re still waiting to get the full story on its launch. After the international announcement of the handset, we saw Samsung hold a separate event for the Note II in New York City. While that firmed-up our expectations of what hardware the US would see upon the phone’s arrival, it failed to fill in important blanks, like dates for retail availability or prices. Now Samsung is sending out save-the-dates to a new event, and it looks like this could be the one to finally complete the Note II’s story.
On October 24, Samsung is holding this shindig, which the invitation hints will be regarding the Note II. Samsung’s been using that “next big thing” language in its promotional material a lot, and most recently we’ve seen it when featuring the Note II.
Of course, since all we can see here is the S-pen stylus, there’s always the chance Samsung could have something else on the agenda, like news of something all-new in its Note lineup (Note 7.0?), but we’re really hoping to see everything finally wrapped-up in regards to the Note II’s launch. We’ll know for sure in a little under a month.
