We’ve heard from the manufacturer that the highly anticipated Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the super-hot Galaxy S III should land sometime in October but according to recent reports the refresh has started hitting some devices already (the official way).
Poland, Romania and UK seem to be the first region to get Google’s latest (with firmware version I9300XXDLIB for unlocked Polish devices). The software update should include fixes and improvements, aside from the latest version of Android (project Butter, Google Now and all), which refer to a new settings menu, two homescreen modes, a new Notification Tray, as well as resizable Pop-up Play.
