Is This The HTC 8S / Rio?


It almost doesn’t seem worth mentioning at this late hour, with HTC’s New York event starting, but knowing how long these things can run, with execs taking their sweet time to get to the good stuff, consider this one last tease: a (tiny) image of what could be the HTC 8S, known by codename Rio.

This should be among the lower-end of what HTC has to share from its Windows Phone 8 lineup today, with a dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 Plus, alongside a four-inch WVGA screen.
