For a smartphone company, Nokia sure has been getting pretty playful in recent months. There’s been all this light-hearted trash talk coming from employees and company mouthpieces, creating the appearance of friendly rivalries while giving Nokia a chance to joke around a little. More recently, we’ve seen signs that the company might be teasing us with clues to a new version of one of its just-announced Windows Phone 8 handsets in some videos it posted. We looked at one a couple days back, and now it looks like Nokia’s up to the same stunt again.
While last time, we saw what appeared to be a cyan Lumia 920 just hanging out on a table, as if it was no big secret at all, this new video is a little more coy with what it’s hiding.
A new video spot for Nokia’s Red Bull app shows the app in action on a couple Lumia 920s. During a shot of a yellow handset, for one single video frame only, the phone transforms into another cyan 920, before flipping back to its original shade. Blink and you’ll miss it, but it’s absolutely there. Message received loud and clear, Nokia; we’ll be on the lookout for this guy.
Thanks: Santo
