LG is clearly very excited about its Optimus G. After all, it announced the phone right at the end of last month, capitalizing on the IFA press, has been teasing its arrival with videos ever since, and today we learned that LG was announcing the very same phone, yet again! OK, so LG might seem a little scatterbrained after all this, but if the Optimus G and its quad-core Snapdragon S4 are really as great as the manufacturer makes them out to be, we suppose it’s had cause to get a little frazzled, all caught-up in the excitement. Tomorrow we’re hoping to get the full breakdown on how the phone will arrive in the US, but before LG’s event kick-off, we’ve got a last-minute report on when you could hope to see this model land.
According to the AP, LG has confirmed that the Optimus G will go up for sale in the US sometime this November, following an October launch in Japan. That may be a little longer than we wanted to wait, but at least it will be here in time for the holiday season.
LG’s event is first thing tomorrow morning, starting at 8 AM, so check back with us shortly afterward for the full rundown on what to expect.
