Of all the rumored HTC Windows Phone devices we’ve heard tipped (and there’s been three of them so far), the HTC Accord, possibly arriving as the HTC Windows Phone 8X, has far and away been the center of attention. That’s due in no small part to the sheer number of leaks that have featured this handset, and as we hopefully start closing-in on the phone’s official announcement, we get to check out a pic that may just show off the Accord in real life; no more renders.
Well, there’s not much we can make out in this blurry mess, but the source reports that the phone is ready for Verizon; we’ve heard rumors of interest in the Accord from both Verizon and T-Mobile. The purple coloring matches one of the first renders to feature the Accord, and there’s that same notch at the bottom for what’s rumored to be a Microsoft-set standard for Windows Phone 8 micro USB dock connectors.
HTC’s New York City event commences at 11 AM tomorrow morning. Check back with us then for coverage of what’s revealed, hopefully including the Accord and the rest of HTC’s Windows Phone 8 lineup.
