One September 5th, we heard from Nokia that the Lumia 820 would feature removable battery covers that are available in a number of different colors, but that you’ll also be able to get Qi wireless charging compatible covers also in a number of color options.  The wireless charging shells will be made from PC/ABS plastic and will be available in matte white, yellow, black, red and cyan. Today Nokia reveals yet another type of battery cover for the Lumia 820 that includes built-in rubberized corners which will help protect the phone when thrown across a room (or dropped accidentally).  The rugged Lumia 820 shells will be available in matte yellow, green and orange with black rubberized trim.  The regular color options for the plain protective shells are glossy red, yellow, cyan, purple, and white. Matte colors are available in grey and black.

That seems like a great selection of both color options and functional enhancements for the Lumia 820.  If you’re considering a Lumia 820, which battery cover shell do you think you’ll use the most?
