We know something about slow news weeks. For much of the summer, that’s what the tech news cycle felt like: waiting for promised events and products, attending the occasional (and awesome) product launch, but always looking forward to the “coming months.”
Well, that month has finally come, and it’s called September. Hot on the heels of IFA in Berlin, a bevy of companies -Apple, Nokia, Samsung, and Motorola- all hosted events of their very own, unleashing a slew of hot new hardware devices on the public.
Tune in to this week’s Pocketnow Weekly podcast for a boatload of iPhone 5 discussion, followed by some talk about the new Nokia Lumia family and what it means for Windows 8 adoption going forward. We even manage to jaw on Android for a bit, speculating about what effect the new Droid RAZRs will have in the world of the little green robot.
Oh, and “that’s what she said” jokes. We’ve got a few of those, too.
If that kind of humor tickles your fancy -and it better- the various player links are below. Plug in, kick back, and treat your listening holes to episode 009 of the Pocketnow Weekly.
