We’ve recently seen press renders of the LG Escape and the phone has now officially landed on AT&T’s network. It will be available starting September 16 and will go for $49.99 with a two-year contract, enriching the carrier’s budget line-up with an LTE-enabled phone.
The Escape packs a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch qHD IPS display, five-megapixel camera capable with 1080p video recording capability, 4GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card, 4G LTE compatible radio, NFC, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on-board and LG’s custom UI on top of it.
“Customers looking for incredible value will quickly select the Escape”, said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president of devices at AT&T Mobility. “This is an impressive smartphone for $49.99,” he added.
