LG has been kind of silent at this year’s IFA, at least if we compare what they showed off to our expectations. We wanted to see the highly anticipated Optimus G but we’ve only managed to look at the specced up Optimus VU — which we skipped for obvious reasons — and the Optimus L9. We even talked about that in our Special IFA Edition Pocketnow Weekly podcast episode 008.

It sure looks like the Optimus G will be a big thing and we might not be surprised if LG threw a special event for it, you know, a la Apple and Samsung more recently. They sure tease the phone on the internet and the latest video on YouTube is there for all of you who “want to say no to no”. It’s about setting yourself free, breaking limits and all the cool stuff. What’s even cooler is the outline of a “new design” which we froze for you below. Check out the video and let us know if you think LG is shifting and headed in the right direction. We know in the past they’ve been “the world’s first _____” (fill in the blank yourself) but that didn’t help them much, did it?
