How long does it take to get ready for as eagerly-anticipated an event as the next iPhone launch? Apple’s made it pretty clear that the iPhone 5 will be unveiled at the company’s September 12 event, and even with five days to go before the festivities, it looks like the company is already hard at work getting things set up.
Over in San Francisco, Apple’s already well underway at transforming the Yerba Buena Center to the venue that will give us our first official look at the iPhone 5. Peeking in through the windows reveals some generic Apple signage in place, but so far nothing too revealing.
With any luck, as we get closer to the event itself, we might get a look at a banner or poster that more candidly reveals some of the hardware Apple intends to announce (as we could be getting more than just a new iPhone, with the iPad mini and other new Apple products also rumored). For now, we’ll have to live with this.
