Back in June, Andy Rubin confirmed a total number of 900,000 Android device activations per day, which by itself is an amazing number. However, the curve seems to still have a climbing shape as we’re now hearing a whopping 1,3 million daily Android device activations (that is both phones and tablets).
The information came directly from CEO Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt who dropped the bomb at yesterday’s Motorola event which gave the world the Droid RAZR M, RAZR HD and RAZR Maxx HD. We just told you about the outstanding success of the Galaxy S III and we all know that the Nexus 7 tablet is a favorite for many. This explains the increased number of activations (and we’re expecting even more towards the holiday season, as well as with the coming of the Galaxy Note II).
