A couple days back we took a look at some super-blurry pictures of an unreleased HTC Android, and one that appeared to have a very large screen, at that. Supposedly, that model was the rumored 1080p handset with a five-inch screen that we heard HTC might be preparing for Verizon. We got a couple looks at the phone from a side-view, but today it returns to give us a head-on look at the hardware.
Although we can no longer see the side and back red accents from this angle, the phone does appear to be the same model we looked at earlier, and there’s still a hint of red around the earpiece. Here we can more clearly see the off-center front-facing camera, as well as get a sense for the size of the handset’s bezel.
The site this image comes to us through refers to the hardware as the Endeavor C2. That’s odd, because that’s a name we’ve heard before in reference to a slightly-upgraded HTC One X (the original Endeavor). In fact, the design of this phone doesn’t really follow One-series styling at all. So, just what is it? We may have to wait until HTC’s upcoming event to find out, scheduled for two weeks from today.
