We still may have three weeks of summer left, but with Labor Day upon us, and kids heading back to school, it sure feels like it’s ending now. If the thought of the cold weather ahead has you down, Google may have just the think to help perk up your spirits, announcing an end-of-summer app sale in the Google Play Store.

Google’s put eighteen apps up for sale for just about a dollar each. With some games for kids, some for older players, and a handful of productivity apps, hopefully there’s something for everybody here.

Some of the highlights of the featured titles include the very handy SwiftKey 3 keyboard and Star Chart for astronomy buffs. Kids should get a kick out of The Lorax, and The Game Of Life is appropriate for the whole family. More serious gamers can check out N.O.V.A. 3 and Modern Combat 3, while there’s Virtual Tennis if you’re more into sports. If strategy games are more your speed, Square Enix’s Crystal Defenders is marked-down 83% to just $1.26.

Head on over to Google Play to check out the full selection and look to see if there are any apps worth throwing down a buck for.
