After learning about Sony’s new Xperia line-up being announced just minutes ago at IFA in Berlin, we now have the opportunity to spend some hands-on time with the Sony Xperia J. The difference between this device and the rest is that this is a device slated at the budget minded, but retaining the Xperia design language at just 9.22 mm of thickness. When it comes to specs, the device includes a:
- 4-inch FWVGA display (854 x 480) at 244 PPI
- 1 GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM7227A processor
- 5 Megapixel camera
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich under Sony’s proprietary UI
- 4GB of storage with microSD expansion up to 32GB
While it may not be the most ground breaking device, it sure is a solution to many of the people that want to start fresh with a smartphone and on a tight budget.
