More and more Android users get access to Jelly Bean every day, which means that plenty of them are getting their first chances to try out Google Now. Thanks to an update just released for the Google Search app, Now is getting a few improvements to help make it more useful than ever. Let’s check out the changes.
If you’re into movies, you’ll appreciate the new film-related features added to Google Now, letting you track down info including upcoming showtimes near you. If sports are more your thing, you can now choose from 140-some teams to follow, and Google Now will keep you up to date on their latest news and scores.
Google’s also adding new public safety information to the app, letting you get updates on storm warnings and other natural disasters that may be headed your way.
Finally, there’s new international support, with Google Now becoming available for Jelly Bean users in South Korea.
The latest Google Search app featuring Google Now is in the Google Play Store currently; give it a download to check out all these new capabilities.
