Which is Your Next Smartphone for 2012?

It looks like this week is going to start off a few more weeks of big smartphone announcements.  First up, we’ve got IFA in Berlin and we’re looking at possibly seeing a number of new Android smartphones and tablets such as:
HTC One X+Proto
Samsung Galaxy Note 2Galaxy Tab 7.7 refresh
Sony Xperia SLXperia Tablet, Xperia J
LG Optimus G
Acer Liquid Gallant

Then in New York City on September 5th and 6th there are a few more announcements scheduled.  Nokia is expected to announce 2 new Windows Phones for AT&T, one for T-Mobile, and probably one for Verizon all running the brand new Windows Phone 8 operating system.  Then later that afternoon, Motorola is announcing something else which we’re guessing might be the Droid M or RAZR HD.  Then the following day Samsung has an announcement planned which might be for the U.S. version of the Galaxy Note II.  Meanwhile in Helsinki, Nokia’s “Nokia World” conference will also be happening September 5-6 where I’m sure they’ll be showing off some new Windows Phones for the rest of the world.

We’re expecting Samsung and HTC to announce some Windows Phone 8’s of their own as well, but are unsure of when that might happen.  It may not be until October.

Then on September 12th, Apple has something to announce and many are expecting that to be the 6th generation “new iPhone“.

That’s a lot of new phone announcements in the coming weeks!  Which ones are you most looking forward to and which will be your next smartphone?  Or is it too soon to tell?
