After updating the Facebook client for the iPhone and the iPad — with a revamped, faster experience — Facebook has now refreshed its Messenger program to bring a couple of neat features for those who keep in touch using the social networks’ messaging offering.
The new version brings bugfixes alongside the ability to add smileys, hearts and other emoji to messages, tappable person name at the top of your conversation that takes you to their Facebook Timeline, the ability of seeing who’s active lets you and your friends know how soon to expect a reply, and an improved “new message” sound.
