Sure, we’ve seen plenty of leaked pics purporting to show-off iPad mini components, but what’s been depicted in all that imagery hasn’t been entirely consistent. First there were questions about just how large the new dock connector would be, and we’ve also seen some confusion over whether or not Apple would copy Google’s Nexus 7 and ditch the rear-facing camera. Well, some new pics of what’s supposedly a case for the iPad mini have emerged, and if what they show is really final hardware, we might just have a few answers.
You can easily see the smaller dock connector, even though that issue had largely seemed resolved by this point, along with the presence of a rear camera; it doesn’t look like that will be going away anytime soon.
We’re not sure just when Apple might be planning to formally unveil the iPad mini. At first, it seemed likely that the tablet would debut alongside the iPhone 5, but there’s also the possibility that Apple might put put things off until slightly later.
