Ever since we saw the FCC filing and adjacent documents it became pretty clear that Verizon is planning on carrying LG’s response to the initial Samsung Galaxy Note, the LG Optimus VU. We’ve seen it pictured earlier, before LG announced that the global version will receive a spec bump.
It looks like Verizon will change the name of the LG Optimus VU to LG Intuition when it will announce the phone in the coming weeks. The price will be a rather attractive one: $199 given you sign a new two-year contract or $549 without an agreement. If you remember our MWC hands-on with the phone, we told you back then that, opposed to the Galaxy Note, the LG five-incher doesn’t come with a stylus; instead you have a neat button at the top which turns your finger into a pointing device for taking notes once the note interface is loaded with that switch.
